Personal access token

Using personal access tokens (PATs) is a secure way to integrate external applications with your Jira instance. If an external system is compromised, you can revoke the token instead of changing your password in all scripts and integrations. PATs are a safe alternative to using usernames and passwords for authentication. Learn how to create personal access tokens in Jira
